Yep, the energy rom is much better than before.  I still don't understand why he cooks in some of that extra crap though (ie, google maps, bing, etc).  Much better to have that stuff on the sd card.  Also, tcpmp doesn't run near as well as coreplayer.  That's really my only gripe.  Been running this for about a week now and so far so good.  Just realized he released an update but not sure if I'm gonna upgrade yet or not.

As far as the guy asking about using sprite backup and reloading apps after flashing.  Well, after flashing, I have found that it really is better to reload your apps manually.  Some things, like contacts, email, appointments, etc you can use things like pim backup, exchange, myphone, etc.  After about 50 flashes now, I can do my reloading in my sleep.  I have my main system apps that I load first (sometime I don't need to because some roms include them).  Again, it's a personal preference.  I kinda enjoy reloading my stuff.  Gives me a chance to reevaluate whether or not I really want to install some things.

The most time consuming thing is setting up my folders the way I want and organizing all my apps in the correct folders.  Other than that though, it doesn't take all that long to do.

Yes, I am using 4.49.25.91 right now.  It seems to have improved reception a bit.  At work, I'm in this big marble building and reception was off and on.  Since flashing to this radio, I now keep at least 1-2 bars of signal strength.  You mileage may vary.  I've flashed about 5 different radios and this one's the best so far.

BTW, the last energy rom is really good.  I'm so glad he's gotten the speed up to what Tess and Cheetah are.

Yep... agree.  If you are flashing to NRG, flash to Feb 26 or Mar 5 (skip the Mar 9).

there are no links on here. he takes down all the old roms when he posts new roms. your best bet is too ask around the energy rom thread on xda for someone that has it on a filehosting site.

new energy roms out and ready to download. these things just keep getting better{except for the mar9 rom}. the new ones have fullscreen weather turned off by default and is prolly the fastest ones yet. not to mention a little change of the default theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562942 i like using the standard rom cause it has the fastest homescreen.

he keeps switching up which version of manila he uses. he will go from the rhodium manila to the leo manila and the rhodium version{i believe} is the one without the ereader tab but someone has made a standalone app of the ereader. just have a look around xda and you should be able to find it.

Good looking. Works like a charm.

How do you access CV with the latest Rom.  cingularvideo.cingular.com won't open and device.home/ (medianet page) doesn't have a link for CV? Any help would be appreciated.
