I haven't seen any devices actually fail due to over-flashing at this point.
Chefs would certainly experience this more than average.
One thing I have found is that if you don't clear your memory by flashing back to stock ROM or using Task 29 (posted here) your memory retains portions of the previous flash, even with a hard reset.
I've flashed about 20 to 30 times w/o issue, but do a Task 29 between each flash.

I have flashed mine like five or six times. I believe theres a risk if you do it wrong and I prooved to myself thay a hard reset before flashing is the way to go. But I certainly love this phone. Grin

i just flashed googyrom 3.4 last night and so far i love it. its a 6.1 rom with manilla 2.5. manilla seems to run a good bit faster on top of the 6.1 rom compared to 6.5. if you are looking to flash a different rom it is def. a good one to look at.

Energy looks really nice!  I haven't tried out any ROMs yet, but I get my stock ROM to start up at 105mb free, so I'd think other ROMs could start off even better??

True points Joe.  I was always under the impression that custom ROMs should yield faster phone response and more free memory...  In any event, I have WiFirouter on my Pure, but the XDA one, not the one available on Marketplace.  The XDA is the same thing really, and FAR cheaper...  Of course with the modem tether reg tweak, the router isn't really required/necessary when on the go anyways.  Makes for a safer modem experience IMO being USB connected.  I should state though that when booting up with Swype being active, free memory drops to 96mb for me...

hi,

Duttys Topaz creme de la creme (V4) is just the best ROM I ever tried. Very fast and clean.
But have just some incompatibilities with some programs, like CHTeditor ou BSB Tweaks.
I just have one small problem, when I restart my HTC my home screen starts like the image I attached below. do yoy know any fix for this bug?

If you mean the RSS feed overlaying Call History,  you need to hard reset. You've probably atttempted a tweak that didn't work.
Also I suspect you installed CHT editor but not CHT, so you've nothing to edit.

CHT Editor is to edit CHT, it will replace your home screen, get rid of the RSS feed, add shortcuts and customizations. You install it the same way you installed the editor. Just search for it on XDA.
As for the beep, no way to get rid of it AFAIK.
