It dawned on me that I never introduced myself!
I'm TraceG and I got started in computers and tech wayyyyyyy back in 1984 when I started out on the old TRS-80. I soon upgraded to the Commodore 64 and eventually the 128 model. I used one of the 128 versions as late as 1997, since I had it hotwired to a 56k modem and had created an emulator to actually allow it to work! So, yes, I WAS surfing the "net" on a pre-90's PC! Please remember the disk drives for these were normally 5.25" disks or 3.5" disks and separate units! I "enjoyed" my 1st cell phone in about '91 when it was like 5 lbs. and in a BAG! You think a Pure is "largish"? Try lugging a bag phone around like a oversized purse! I love cell phone tech and WAS always looking for the latest and greatest, till I found the Pure. I've been through most brands including Sony, Samsung, Nokia etc. and know a lot about each, including their various OS's. I can't stand not knowing how to do things with my tech and constantly look to broaden my knowledge base. I became Admin here after a lil' issue with being BANNED by someone and corrected by HTC Pure. Apparently, I complained about a few issues too much and HTC Pure, being a intelligent person, decided if I knew where the issues were, let me fix them. Which I truly hope the Forum looks better than before I started. This has been a bit of an obsession lately for me as I am home on Injury Recovery through work and have LOTS of free time. I really want this Forum to succeed not only for the regular visitors, but for the fact that not ALL Pure device info should be limited to one location. I do sincerely wish that all members will start to post more often and that our Guests, while appreciated, will become members and visit us often. If there is anything that I, or the rest of our knowledgeable staff can do for you, please let us know.
Thanks for reading my ramblings and enjoy the Forum!
