The new Mobile marketplace is up and running! and it is actually quite good.. i just wish they had the loading better.. it kept pushing some apps up and i had to continuously scroll down to where i was before... also the downloading and installing seemed kinda slow.. but overall it looks great.

heh.. i found that it was only constantly changing in top apps.. if you go through the category view it is fine.

FYI

Search over on xda and make sure you get the version of marketplace that allows you to install the programs on your sd card.

I just got my phone today and am still toying with it (helluva lot better than my samsung eternity).  Has anyone found good independent sites for apps/games?  doesn't look like winmo 6.5 has had much time for developers to release anything.  am i looking in the wrong place?

most apps for winmo 6.1 that support wvga (480x800) will work. try searching under diamond 2 instead of pure.

Yes. lots of apps from my incite works on my pure..s ome were the wrong resolution but most works fine.
