HTC Pure - No Pure Store Stock

No Pure Store Stock - Why?

I called my local att store to investigate moving to the Pure (4/2/10). I was told all stock had been pulled for "updates". The clerk could not provide any details.

Does anyone know what might be up?

ATT is down to refurbs now according to others. Even sites like Wirefly.com and LetsTalk.com have pulled them. I believe some were found at Amazon.com with NEW accounts only. Ebay dealers also have a FEW left with upgrade accounts etc, but I am seeing the end of this model in the wind soon. If you find one by year's end, you'll be paying top dollar for it.
I managed to weasel a spare one NIB from a friend swapping another phone to him.

Man.. I got mines today! They are phasing them out with the tilt 2 but you can still find some just call all neighboring att stores till you find one like I did.

I got a refurbished one as a warranty replacement for my LG Incite, I was trying to get a tilt 2 out of them, but Asurion wasn't going for it Cheesy

Be glad you did find one at a store, Epix.. they were under orders to pull all stock and NOT sell them any more over a month ago. I'm in pretty good with the local manager (I repaired one of his rifles once) and he showed me the memo awhile back. He thinks it was because people were figuring out that the Pure is a VERY good alternative to the I-Poop at a MUCH lower initial cost.

And that's EXACTLY why I got my Pure in the first place too. Wink

Everyone has i-Poop and I didn't want to be everyone, plus why if I already have an iPod. Of course I wanted lasting calls, not one that drop off into oblivion...
